Bringing City Hall to the People!

Coffee & Conversations is a monthly outreach initiative developed by the Office of Business Diversity and Opportunity to foster connections between small business owners and the City of Birmingham. Inspired by the idea of bringing City Hall directly into the community, this event creates an inviting space for entrepreneurs to network, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights into the resources and programs offered by the Office of Business Diversity and Opportunity.

Generally held on the fourth Thursday of each month, Coffee & Conversations is intentionally scheduled at varying times to accommodate the diverse schedules of Birmingham’s entrepreneurial community. 

By meeting business owners where they are, this initiative underscores the City’s commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and genuine engagement with the small business ecosystem. Coffee & Conversations is more than an event—it’s a bridge to resources, collaboration, and the collective growth of Birmingham’s entrepreneurial community.
